What This Internship is About:
  • Assist with filming video content for RedPeg Marketing’s social media platforms and client activations, both on-site and in the office.
  • Support the video production process by helping with camera setup, lighting, and sound, ensuring quality footage is captured for both short and long-form content.
  • Aid in the editing process, including basic editing, trimming, color correction, and incorporating basic motion graphics.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop fresh video ideas, storyboards, and concepts for social media campaigns and other digital content.
  • Optimize video content for social platforms, ensuring it is aligned with platform-specific best practices (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn).
  • Assist in maintaining a digital library of raw footage, ongoing projects, and finalized video content.
  • Help organize and manage post-production workflows, ensuring smooth transitions from rough cuts to final edits.
  • Support the video editor in reviewing video drafts, providing feedback, and assisting with final approval processes for client projects.
  • Participate in the music and sound library curation, ensuring all content is appropriately licensed for use.
  • Be prepared to travel and assist in capturing video content for live events, client activations, and other real-time gatherings.
  • Produce quick-turn edits and updates from live events, ensuring content is suitable for immediate release on social platforms.
  • Administrative support 
What You’re All About:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in video production, editing, and social media content creation.
  • Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).
  • Basic knowledge of camera equipment, lighting setups, and sound recording techniques.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their unique content specifications (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube).
  • A passion for creating compelling, innovative, and engaging video content.
  • Strong creative thinking and the ability to contribute ideas for new video concepts.
  • Overall strong communication, presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally, clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Keen attention to detail, accuracy and personal accountability
  • Ability to handle a high-volume of work consisting of multiple projects and deadlines at one time (time management)
  • Ability to problem-solve independently and in collaboration with others
  • Strong work ethic and hunger to learn and "roll up your sleeves"
  • Willingness to help with tasks
  • Flexibility to work some evenings or weekends during event activations.
  • A pleasant and positive attitude
Salary:
$15/h Enrolled in an Undergrad program, $16.50/h for completing an Undergrad program, but not starting a Graduate program and $18/h enrolled in or obtained Graduate degree
