* MINIMUM 2 YEARS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AS A DISPATCHER

Connect Staffing, Inc. is currently looking to fill a dispatcher potion for a lumber company in Riverside, CA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday OT and Saturday's required when needed

• 1st shift 6am-2:30pm

Requirements of the Dispatcher:

• Must have prior experience as a dispatcher
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must be able to pass background and drug screen
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Need to be comfortable with working in an outside environment
• Prior experience in roles such as general laborer, forklift driver, construction, demolition, framing, material handler, loader/unloader, or lumper is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Dispatcher :

• Log Driver ETA and Assignment in Shipping App
• Take Driver Calls upon approach to yard, park or send to yard accordingly • 
• Oversee Virtual Yard Map and Spot Availability 
• Prepare Load Paperwork / Manage Dispatch Printer 
• Get ETAs for Action Items / Work Orders / Jobs 
• Review Driver Lunches (including pickup truck(s) drivers 
• Driver lunch location (in yard or near yard) 
• Driver turnaround report accuracy 
• Departure time (1st run) 
• End of Day time (final run, leaving for day) Review time at jobsite and in yard (fueling time, etc.) 
• Review route time from job site and to yards (using the correct freeways, etc.) 
• Driver reported issues, tie down trouble, loading trouble, stand by time, etc. 
• Review inspection reports for required repairs, safety issues, etc. 
• Manage drivers throughout the day using Trucking app and other tools • Follow up on DRs, why it was required, resolve issues preventing electronic signatures 
• Verify Photos sent from drivers, to ensure quality and usefulness • Backup Dispatcher training
