Job Description

he key duties and responsibilities of a Gym Manager include:

Overseeing daily operations, ensuring that the gym is clean, functional, and customer-friendly
Reaching monthly sales goals for the facility
Hiring, training, and managing gym staff including personal trainers, fitness instructors, and front desk personnel
Developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones
Handling membership inquiries, registrations, and cancellations
Managing the gym’s budget, ensuring that the business remains financially viable
Conducting regular equipment inspections and arranging for repairs and replacement as necessary
Organizing and promoting fitness classes and other special events
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
Resolving conflicts and handling customer complaints in a professional manner
Keeping track of inventory and ordering gym supplies as needed
