Lead MuleSoft Developer

My client is seeking a Lead MuleSoft Developer with a profound understanding of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Java, and system integration. This role involves leading the design, development, and maintenance of integration solutions using MuleSoft Platform, ensuring seamless connectivity and data flow across our global operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership in MuleSoft Development: Oversee the architectural design and development of MuleSoft solutions, ensuring they meet business requirements, performance standards, and security protocols.
• Integration Strategy: Develop and implement integration strategies that enhance system interoperability, scalability, and resilience. Lead in the integration of disparate systems, applications, and data sources.
• Java & OOD Expertise: Apply in-depth knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented Design principles to craft high-quality, maintainable code that serves as a model for the team.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and guide a team of developers, fostering an environment of learning, collaboration, and innovation. Manage project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Problem Solving: Tackle complex integration challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during deployments and upgrades.
• Best Practices: Champion best practices in API-led connectivity, microservices architecture, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).

Qualifications:

• Experience:
• Software development focused on MuleSoft.
• Proven track record as a lead developer in a large enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, particularly in integration contexts.
• Deep understanding of OOD, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in MuleSoft Platform, including API management, API design, and integration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with security standards, compliance, and data governance in integration scenarios.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
